Callie Furmaniuk, originally from Belmont Massachusetts, began dancing early in life at the Lexington School of Ballet and furthered her studies at Jacqueline Cronsberg's Ballet Workshop of New England. At the age of 13 Callie joined Boston Ballet School. Callie has also attended summer programs at the Rock school in Philadelphia and Boston Ballet’s SDP- Boston.
For the past 2 years Callie has had the opportunity to assist in ballet classes at Boston Ballet School ranging from creative dance through the intermediate 1 level. Guided by Elizabeth Graves Akerstein, Callie created and completed an independent program for high school credit on how children learn dance and how to help facilitate that learning.
In 2010 Callie began studying Political Science and Economics at Wellesley College where she takes part in advanced ballet classes and The Wellesley College Dancers, a student run and choreographed dance company.
