Joined Boston Ballet II in 2012
Alyssa Leger of Lafayette, Louisiana joined Boston Ballet II in 2012. She began her training at the age of 8 with Lafayette Ballet Theatre. Alyssa has previously studied on scholarship with the Miami City Ballet School. She has also recently studied on full scholarship as a Professional Division student at Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Alyssa has attended summer programs on full scholarship with Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Boston Ballet, and has also attended School of American Ballet’s summer program.
She performed leading roles with the Miami City Ballet School in school productions including Columbine in Edward Villella’s Harlequinade, and Odette in George Balanchine’s Swan Lake. Alyssa performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet in productions including Kent Stowell’s The Nutcracker, Alexei Ratmansky’s Don Quixote, and originating roles created by Pacific Northwest Ballet company members.
