Bueno was born in Harlingen, Texas. She grew up in Córdoba, Mexico, where she started ballet lessons at the Fomento Artistico Cordobes in 1994.
She took part in several competitions. She won second prize at the IV Concurso Nacional Infantil y Juvenil de Mexico and first prize at the V Concurso Nacional Infantil y Juvenil de Mexico. She won a scholarship for the John Cranko School at the Youth America Grand Prix.
In 2003 Bueno continued her education at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart where she graduated in 2007. Bueno was taken into Stuttgart Ballet’s Corps de ballet in the 2007-2008 season.
Bueno had solo roles in Demis Volpi’s Big Blur, Reid Anderson and Valentina Savina’s Giselle, and Marco Goecke’s Orlando. She had the lead role as a guest with the John Cranko School production of John Cranko’s Pineapple Poll. Bueno also had roles in John Cranko’s Carmen, Initials R.B.M.E., Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, and The Taming of the Shrew, Marco Goecke’s Bravo Charlie, and The Nutcracker; Kevin O’Day’s Hamlet, Sir Frederick Ashton’s La fille mal gardée, August Bournonville’s La Sylphide, Christian Spuck’s Orphee et Euridice, Kenneth MacMillan’s Requiem, John Neumeier’s The Lady of the Camellias, and Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty.
