Joined Boston Ballet II in 2011
Brittany Stone began studying at the age of 13 in the pre-professional program at American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, under the direction of Franco DeVita and Raymond Lukens. During this time, she also trained privately with Fabrice Herrault. In 2009-2010, she spent her last year of high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the artistic direction of Ethan Stiefel. Stone joined Boston Ballet II in 2010.
Stone attended summer intensives on scholarship at Miami City Ballet, ABT New York, and Boston Ballet and attended the Stiefel and Stars program for two summers. She began her work at Boston Ballet in the fall of 2010 as a trainee, and joined BBII in September, 2010, performing in the season-opening
La Bayadère, “Kingdom of the Shades”, Mikko Nissinen’s
The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s
A Midsummer Night’s Dream and
Symphony in Three Movements. She also performed in the Young Audiences performances during her year in Boston Ballet II.
