Christina Ghiardi

Christina Ghiardi of Morgantown, West Virginia received her early training at Morgantown Dance Studio. At the age of 14 she joined the Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Program on full scholarship where she studied for one year. She was then accepted into The School of American Ballet (SAB) where she completed four years of pre-professional training before joining BBII. While at SAB, she participated in the Student Choreographic Workshop, both choreographing and performing. She also performed through New York Choreographic Institute, New York City Ballet Lecture Demonstrations and annual SAB Workshop Performances. She was one of two advanced students selectedby Peter Martins and Kay Mazzo for a student teacher program at SAB. During her final year at SAB, she was the recipient of the Lisa and Richard Perry Scholarship. She has spent her past two summers training with Boston Ballet School on scholarship.
