Joined Boston Ballet in 2014
Emily Entingh trained in Southern California and at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. She has competed in various national and international ballet competitions. In 2008, Entingh won the regional Junior Youth American Grand Prix Award in Los Angeles, California, and placed in the Top Twelve of the Junior Age Division in the New York City Finals. In 2010, Entingh placed Top Twelve Senior Division of Youth American Grand Prix Finals; was a semi-finalist at the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi; and was a grand prize winner in the Music Center Spotlight Awards in Los Angeles, California. She joined Houston Ballet II in 2010, and in 2011 was chosen to represent Houston Ballet at the International Youth Dance Festival in Budapest, Hungary. Entingh joined Boston Ballet II in 2012 and became a company member in 2014.
Entingh's repertoire includes Stanton Welch's Brigade, Garden of Mirth, Blue, Long and Winding Road, Fingerprints, and A Time to Dance; Florence Clerc's La Bayadère; Marius Petipa's The Sleeping Beauty and Giselle; Harald Lander's Etudes; Sir Frederick Ashton's Cinderella; Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker and Swan Lake; and George Balanchine's Symphony in C, Serenade, Coppélia, Jewels, Symphony in Three Movements, Episodes, and Theme and Variations.
