Joined Boston Ballet in 2011
Olga Malinovskaya from Moscow, Russia joined Boston Ballet in 2011. She has previously danced with the Estonian National Ballet as a principal dancer. Malinovskaya received her training at the Boshoi Ballet Academy, graduating with honors. In 2008, she danced with Accademia di Teatro alla Scala.
Malinovskaya received a Gold medal at the International Dance Olympus Competition in Berlin in 2006, a diploma at the 9th International Ballet Competition “Arabesque” in Perm, Russia in 2006, and a Silver medal at the New York International Ballet Competition in 2009. Malinovskaya was listed in the 170 Outstanding Dancers of the 2010 Season announced by Dance Europe Magazine. In 2010-2011, she was invited to take part in Reflections, a project created by Ardani Artist Management with the Bolshoi Theater for six world famous Ballerinas.
Malinovskaya’s repertoire with Estonian National Ballet includes leading roles in Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Coppelia, The Nutcracker, The Three Musketeers, Second Symphony, Who Cares?, and other important works by George Balanchine, Mauro Bigonzetti, and Nacho Duato.
