Joined Boston Ballet in 2008
Robert Kretz, a native of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, trained at the Norfolk Academy and with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet before joining Boston Ballet II from 2006-2008.
He was promoted to corps de ballet in 2008.
Kretz’s Boston Ballet repertoire includes Maina Gielgud’s Giselle, Bournonville’s La Sylphide, John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet, Jorma Elo’s In on Blue and Le Sacre du Printemps, Rudolf Nureyev’s Don Quixote, Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, and George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
