Compensation: Internships at Boston Ballet are unpaid but street team members are compensated for their volunteer hours with tickets to performances.
Description
The College Street Team Member will provide Boston Ballet outreach to Boston-area college students.
Responsibilities
- Promote Boston Ballet on campus at self-created or scheduled events
- Hang posters and distribute Boston Ballet materials on campus
- Email friends/family to share Boston Ballet news and ticket offers
- Utilize social media (Facebook, blogs, Twitter, etc.) to share Boston Ballet news and ticket offers
- 10 - 15 hours per week
- Available flexible hours
Qualifications
- Student at Boston-area/Massachusetts college
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enjoys being in/working with the community
- Has an interest in dance and/or ballet
- Independent and self motivated
