Location: Boston, MA
The Marketing Intern’s main area of focus will be working with the College Street Teams, supporting the manager. Encouraging the marketing efforts of the 5+ College Street Teams and helping them increase visibility on their campuses for Boston Ballet. We encourage this position to spend time outside of the office with each street team on campus. The other half of this position will be handling general marketing tasks in support of the Marketing Managers.
- 10 – 15 hours per week (night and weekends a possibility but rare)

Responsibilities:
- Focus on the management and communication with the college and universities in Boston though College Street Teams
- Monthly on-campus meetings with 5+ College Street Teams
- Weekly communications of marketing messaging, ideas, and efforts to College Street Team Managers
- Daily tracking of College Street Team messaging, ideas, and efforts
- Contribute to additional marketing initiatives including
- Participation at events and activities in the community
- Demographic research
- Community and business relationship building
- Promotional support with partner companies
This is a great career-building opportunity to work with a world renowned ballet company. Although this is not a paid position, interns receive free tickets to Boston Ballet productions.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will be an undergraduate or graduate student
- Outgoing with ability to speak comfortably on the phone and to patrons at events/performances
- Reliable, mature, and goal oriented
- Able to work hard under minimal supervision.
