
Boston Ballet moves to The Boston Opera House for the 2009-2010 season and subscription series including the holiday classic The Nutcracker. The Boston Opera House, a wonderful place for dance, will provide the entire Boston Ballet family with:

- A more intimate environment for audiences and dancers
- An enhanced viewing experience and
- Improved patron services
The Boston Opera House, restored in 2004, features a 50-foot stage, superb facilities, all the technical capabilities needed for world-class performances, and a magnificently opulent marble lobby. Upcoming renovation of the orchestra pit will ensure that company performances meet the highest musical standards. Boston Ballet steps onstage at their new home starting with the 2009-2010 season.
