CLASSICAL BALLET, INTENSIVE
& TRAINEE PROGRAM ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
BASIC ENROLLMENT
REQUIREMENTS
School year classes mirror an
academic year, with students enrolling from September to June. The
School does offer ongoing enrollment through February 2009 with
pro-rated tuition effective as of October 1, 2008.
Returning students will be
evaluated by our faculty in the spring of the 2007-2008 school
year. In the middle of June registration packets will be mailed
home and will include the student’s year-end evaluation and
2008-2009 school year placement. Returning students are afforded a
two week priority registration period after which registration will
be opened to new students. All registration materials are processed
on a first-come, first-served basis. No registrations may be
submitted via phone, email or fax.
NEW to Boston Ballet
School?
Students ages 9 and over must be evaluated by our faculty in order
to determine the proper program and placement for your child. The
Boston Ballet School holds several group placement classes during
the spring and summer months.
Students age 8 as of September
1, 2008 are welcome to enroll directly into Elementary 1 and can
download a PDF registration packet now.
Enrollment in the Intensive and
Trainee Programs is based upon recommendation of Boston Ballet
School's principals. Only students who are physically able,
technically qualified and uniquely dedicated to a rigorous course
of study will be recommended for Intensive Program placement.
Progress is monitored closely with mid-year and year-end
evaluations assessed by the student's teacher and studio
principal.
Please visit our Placement Class page for additional
information about placement classes.
