2008-2009 Ballet Class Information

Welcome to Boston Ballet School!

Whether you dream of a career in dance, seek an outlet for personal growth, or just want to have fun, Boston Ballet School has the right ballet class for you.

We offer classes for students age 2 and older at each of our three studio locations: in the South End of Boston, the MetroWest town of Newtonville and the South Shore Community of Norwell. In January 2009 we will be opening our fourth studio location in the North Shore community of Salem in conjunction with the YMCA.

The four programs of Boston Ballet School follow a pyramid formation. The Children’s Program provides students with a firm foundation in ballet fundamentals while also inspiring a life-long love of dance. Students enter the second stage of our school, the Classical Ballet Program at approximately age 8. Following the Elementary levels of the Classical Ballet Program, the School adds an additional, more rigorous course of study called the Intensive Program. The Trainee Program sits at the top of the pyramid.
