The Pre-Professional Program is designed for select students in pursuit of a pre-professional training experience. Curriculum requirements include technique, pointe, variations and separate men’s classes, as well as modern, character and Pilates.
Through career preparation and professional development seminars, students are mentored in their next steps in a dance career or higher education. Students attend classes at the Company headquarters in Boston’s historical South End neighborhood.
Customized academic and residential options are available through various partnerships with area academic schools and residencies, including Grace Performing Arts Academy.
Interested applicants must attend an audition—prospective students will be recruited from BBS’s Classical Ballet Program as well as from around the world. Merit scholarships and/or financial assistance available through an application process.
BBS is approved to host international students, school administration assists with student’s visa application.
