Progression for Aspiring Pre-Professionals
Boston Ballet School's Summer Dance Program provides students with a stepping stone to further pursue a professional education in ballet. Each year SDP students are considered for Boston Ballet’s second company, BBII, as well as the School’s Trainee Program – both of which are regarded as important entry points to a professional ballet career. Alumni have gone on to join many ballet companies including Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, and New York City Ballet. Boston Ballet School will hold auditions during SDP for any students interested in entering the School for the upcoming year.
