Summer Dance Program - Newton
Weekend Activities

In addition to dorm activities or events sponsored by the city of Boston for the public, Boston Ballet plans larger optional weekend outings for all students. The tickets are pre-purchased through the Boston Ballet. Members of the residential staff attend the activities as chaperones and all transportation is provided. Activities are optional and are filled on a first come first served basis, so space is limited. Fees for Weekend Activities range from $35 to $80 per ticket. Students have the opportunity to go on any or all of the exciting weekend activities Boston Ballet has planned. Last year's activities included:

  • A trip to Six Flags Great Adventure, New England's biggest and wildest amusement park
  • A hilarious performance by comedy hypnotist Alan Sands
  • Performances by Alonzo King's Lines Ballet and Lar Lubovitch Dance Company at the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival in the Berkshires
