Boston Ballet School offers a summer intensive training program in classical ballet with a comprehensive curriculum designed for the serious ballet student. Curriculum is based on age and level of development.
Summer Dance Program - Boston offers aspiring pre-professional dancers ages 15-19 an intensive curriculum taught by our international faculty, focusing on the development of classical ballet technique, while offering contemporary elements necessary for the professional dancers of tomorrow.
Summer Dance Program- Newton (formerly DanceLab) is the site for our younger dancers ages 10-14, who dance at our Metrowest Studio in Newtonville. 2008 marks the first summer that our Newton site will welcome young men, and we are very excited that male dancers ages 10 -19 will be eligible for our Summer Dance Program.
A residential program is available at both sites, and all students ages 11 – 19 are welcome to register as residential students. Summer Dance Program students are selected by audition only. Our 29-city audition tour will run five weeks in January and February, 2008.
