        The Boston Opera House Box Office Hours 

        Non-Performance weeks: Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm

        Performance weeks:
        Monday, 10am to 5pm
        Tuesday through Friday, 10am to curtain
        Saturday, 2 hrs prior to 1st curtain until curtain
        Sunday, 2 hrs prior to 1st curtain – 4pm (or until curtain)

        Please note both the Boston Ballet box office and the Boston Opera House box office are closed on these days:
        2010: July 5, September 6, October 11, November 25, December 25
        2011: January 17, February 21, April 18, and May 30

        Season Ballets
        7pm – Thursday evenings
        7pm – Saturday evening for Night of Stars only
        8pm – Friday and Saturday evenings
        2pm – Saturday and Sunday matinees

        The Nutcracker Curtain Times
        7:30pm – Tuesday - Saturday evenings
        5:30pm – Sunday evenings
        12pm –Friday matinees
        1 pm – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees


        PERFORMANCE POLICIES

        Theater Etiquette

        • Please remember to turn off cellular phones, paging devices, and digital watches before taking your seat. Photography or videotaping of any kind is strictly forbidden. 
        • Light snacks and beverages are available for your enjoyment in the lobby during intermission.
        • There is no dress code. 
        • Performances begin promptly. In consideration of all audience members, once the curtain goes up, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.

        Children at the Ballet

        • Boston Ballet welcomes children and families to our performances. Many children can remain quiet, attentive, and seated for a performance, but you know your child best. Please call the Box Office for suggestions about appropriate productions for children.
        • The Nutcracker is recommended for children of all ages.
        • Everyone who enters the theater must have a ticket; lap sitting is not permitted.
        • No infants are permitted in the theater.

        Weather Emergency

        • Boston Ballet rarely cancels performances due to weather conditions.
        • Please assume that the performance will go on as scheduled, and allow yourself extra time to arrive at the theater.
        • In the event of a weather emergency, you may contact the Boston Ballet Hotline at 617.456.6230.

        ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES
         
        • Boston Ballet is committed to providing access for audience members with disabilities.
        • We offer the following services to patrons:
          • Wheelchair Accessibility 
          • The Boston Opera House has an elevator that stops on all levels.
          • Wheelchair seating is available through the Boston Ballet box office in person, by phone at 617.695.6955 or at the Boston Opera House on Boston Ballet performance dates only beginning two hours prior to the first curtain of the day.
          • Theatre is equipped with an infrared sound enhancement system.
          • Headsets are available at no extra charge in the main lobby
