        Group Sales FAQ

        Do groups receive a discount?
Yes, depending on the performance, groups of ten or more people are eligible for exclusive discounts on full priced tickets.  Call the Boston Ballet Box Office at 617.695.6955 for specific pricing and availability Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5pm.

        Do groups get free tickets?
FREE tickets are offered to groups based on group size and availability. Group leaders may request one complimentary ticket per 20 tickets ordered, a limit of 5 complimentary tickets per ballet and a total limit of 20 complimentary tickets per patron.

        Do you require a deposit?
Boston Ballet requires a non-refundable, 25% deposit at the time of placing your order (must be received within 10 business days if sending a check) and a full payment within 30 days of the performance date. Payments must be in the form of a single check or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover).  Full payment by credit card is required for orders placed one month or less before the desired performance date. Tickets will be released if deposits or final payments are not paid by the due date noted on your Group Sales Contract.

        Are groups charged any fees?
Groups are charged a $15.00 handling fee per order. An additional fee will be charge for additional tickets ordered.

When do groups receive their tickets?
After a final payment is received and processed, group sales tickets are mailed. If preferred group leaders may also arrange for tickets to be picked up by one individual at 19 Clarendon Street Box Office or The Opera House Box Office prior to the performance. Boston Ballet will not distribute tickets individually to group members on the day of the selected performance.

Will a group be seated in the same section of the theatre?
Most groups using a Classic Plan can and will be seated together. For larger groups, sometimes it is difficult to seat everyone together.

Where can our group go to eat before or after the ballet?
There are many restaurants located near The Boston Opera House. Visit http://www.bostonbid.org/ or call the Box Office at 617.695.6955 for more information, M-F, 9:30am-5pm.
