Print-At-Home Ticketing FAQs
What are the benefits of printing my tickets at home?
1) You will get your tickets right away --- no Will Call lines or waiting for the mail
2) You can print your tickets at your convenience
3) You won’t lose or misplace your tickets every again because you can reprint them
4) You can forward the tickets to others attending the event so they can print their own tickets
How do I print my tickets on my computer?
Your tickets will be e-mailed to you after your purchase via a “pdf” document. You should save the document to your computer to store them. You can print them now or later. All you need is a printer (any ink-jet or laser printer with a resolution of 300 dpi or more is able to print tickets) and Adobe Reader. At the event, your tickets will be scanned and you'll be admitted.
Will this ticket be accepted for the event?
Yes. The ticket that comes out of your printer is a valid, legitimate ticket. Make sure you keep it in a safe place like you would any other ticket. Do not make copies of the ticket as only the first scan of the barcode will be allowed entry. If more than one copy were to arrive, the barcode scanner will alert the attendant that the ticket has already been scanned.
Is there a fee for this service?
No, print-at-home ticketing is free of charge.
What if I didn’t receive an e-mail with my Print-At-Home tickets?
If you have not received your tickets via e-mail, contact the Boston Ballet box office by phone at 617.695.6955 or by email at tickets@bostonballet.org. The box office can send you another e-mail to you with your tickets. Note: If Print-At-Home tickets are resent (aka reprinted), the old version of the tickets is void and will not be accepted for entry at the theatre. If you should receive the first e-mail with your tickets, it should be discarded.
