Easy Ticket Exchanges
Exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production. Any ticket purchased from the Boston Ballet box office by a subscriber is exchangeable (excluding any one-night only productions). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. As a subscriber, your first exchange for each ballet is free. Exchanges must be made at least one business day before your regularly scheduled performance, OR before the performance into which you want to exchange, whichever date comes first. Day-of-performance exchanges are not possible.
Flex-Change
Once a season you may exchange tickets to one production for another production of your choice! Return your original tickets to us one business day prior to the performance you cannot attend and you may change into a different upcoming production. Flex-change is subject to availability and not valid for The Nutcracker.
Subscriber Standby –Never miss a ballet!
Bring your unused subscription tickets to the Boston Opera House box office one hour before any subsequent performance of the same production and we will seat you according to availability. Comparable seating is not guaranteed. Please note: Subscriber standby is not available for The Nutcracker or non-subscription ticket purchases.
Ticket Donation
If you cannot attend a performance, you may donate the tickets back to Boston Ballet and receive a receipt for an applicable tax-deduction. Box Office must be in possession of the tickets one business day prior to the performance you cannot attend.
Lost Ticket Replacement
Call the Box Office if you have lost your tickets, and we will reprint them. Reprinted tickets will be held at the theater. Please bring your subscriber card and a picture ID to claim them.
