Ticket Donations

Each year Boston Ballet receives hundreds of requests for ticket donations to support fundraising efforts by non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston metropolitan area.

Ticket donations for the 2008-2009 season will operate as follows:

  • By a lottery system, Boston Ballet will donate 150 vouchers to non-profit organizations. Each voucher will be valid for a pair of tickets to select performances of one of the following ballets: Black & WhiteJewels, and Ballet Russes
  • The first 50 recipients for voucher donations will be selected by lottery on Wednesday, October 1.
  • Another 50 recipients will be selected by lottery on Wednesday, January 7.
  • The final 50 recipients will be selected by lottery on Wednesday, March 11.

Please be sure that your auction or raffle falls within the appropriate time frames as we cannot honor requests for specific ballets or performances.  Vouchers with redemption instructions will be mailed to recipients shortly after each lottery.

To apply for a voucher donation, please fax a request on your organization’s letterhead to (617) 695-6954 or mail the request to:  Boston Ballet Box Office – Auction/Raffle Voucher Donation 19 Clarendon Street, Boston MA. 02116.  Please include what the donation is for and when the auction or raffle is being held.  Requests made via email or phone will NOT be taken.

**Due to the limited number of vouchers available and the high number of requests we receive, we cannot respond to all requests.  We expect the vouchers supply to deplete quickly. **

Non-profit organizations are responsible for alerting the auction or raffle winner of the voucher redemption procedures.  Vouchers can be redeemed by the auction or raffle winner on the day of the desired performance only.  Once redeemed, tickets are not exchangeable.  Boston Ballet is not responsible for misplaced or lost vouchers.
