Creative Dance 1
Age 3* | Ongoing enrollment (September-June)
1 class per week, 45 minutes
Creative Dance 1 offers a welcoming environment for students to develop independence and confidence in the classroom without a parent or guardian. This class introduces students to musical, body, and spatial awareness through dance activities to help develop their motor skills. The term “imagination” is greatly introduced in the Creative Dance levels. Make-believe games in the classroom enable children to use images, see events in their mind, and imitate sounds, voices, and movements, while also distinguishing what is fantasy and what is reality.

If you are interested in joining the Children’s Program for the 23-24 school year please email school@bostonballet.org. Families who register by June 30 save 5% on 24-25 school year tuition.
