Elementary Level

 Co-ed | Ongoing enrollment (September-June) |
Tuition pro-rated monthly | Located at Newton and Boston Studios

In a formal classroom environment, Elementary level students learn the structure of a traditional ballet class through three incremental levels. Students have an increasing time commitment of two to three classes per week, moving at a pace which facilitates age-appropriate discipline and the understanding of technique and safety. These critical levels lay the foundation of classical ballet vocabulary and prepare students for the progression through our Classical Ballet Program with confidence.

By the completion of the Elementary level, students will develop their posture and movement articulation. Beginning mainly at the barre, the curriculum gradually introduces students to more center work, integrating critical elements of ballet like allegro and travelling steps. Students have the benefit of a deep connection with the Boston Ballet Company including exclusive opportunities to audition for Company productions such as Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker and other School performance opportunities throughout the school year.

Families who enroll by June 30 save 5% on 24-25 school year tuition.
