Emily Entingh trained in Southern California and at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. She joined Houston Ballet II in 2010, and in 2011 was chosen to represent Houston Ballet at the International Youth Dance Festival in Budapest, Hungary. Entingh's repertoire includes Sir Frederick Ashton's Cinderella, George Balanchine's Symphony in C, Serenade, Coppélia, Jewels, Symphony in Three Movements, Episodes, and Theme and Variations, Florence Clerc's La Bayadère, John Cranko’s Onegin, Harald Lander's Études, Léonide Massine’s Gaîté Parisienne, Mikko Nissinen's The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, Marius Petipa's The Sleeping Beauty and Giselle, Stanton Welch's Brigade, Garden of Mirth, Blue, Long and Winding Road, Fingerprints, and A Time to Dance, and Leonid Yakobson’s Pas De Quatre. Entingh has competed in various national and international ballet competitions. In 2008, she won the regional Junior Youth America Grand Prix Award in Los Angeles, California, and placed in the Top Twelve of the Junior Age Division in the New York City Finals. In 2010, Entingh placed Top Twelve Senior Division of Youth America Grand Prix Finals; was a semi-finalist at the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi; and was a grand prize winner in the Music Center Spotlight Awards in Los Angeles, California. Entingh joined Boston Ballet II in 2012 and became a company member in 2014. She was promoted to second soloist in 2019.
