Mary Teuscher is a dancer/choreographer focused on inclusion and community. Her training includes Ballet, Yoga, Gaga and Contemporary Release Techniques. She studied dance at Colorado College and went on to train at ADF, Bates Dance Festival, with Pati Hernandez and Andanza in San Juan Puerto Rico and Roseangela Silvestre in Salvador, Brazil. Locally, Teuscher has performed in works at AS220, The RISD Museum, Movement Research in NYC, Providence Fringe Fest, Outside the Box, Boston Conservatory and the BCA. As a teaching artist she has been awarded residencies at The Urbano Project, IBA, The Wang Theater Target Arts Program and DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. She teaches composition and improvisation to youth artists for Prometheus Dance and the Cambridge Community Schools Program. From 2013-2018 Teuscher was a company member of Zoe Dance. She holds a Masters in Teaching from Brown University.
