How big does my group have to be?

Group minimum is 10 people; there is no maximum group size.

Can my group include children?

Yes, we welcome children ages 2 and up to our performances. Our Group Sales Manager can recommend the most child-friendly productions. Please note that everyone who enters the theater must have a ticket.

Do groups receive a discount?

Depending on the performance date, groups are eligible for discounts up to 40% on full-priced tickets in price level A, B, or C seating. Call the Boston Ballet Box Office at 617.695.6955 for specific pricing and availability Mon–Fri, 9:30 am–5 pm.

Can groups get any free tickets?

Classic Groups receive one complimentary ticket for every 20 paid tickets.

Do you require a deposit?

For Classic Groups, a non-refundable 25% deposit is due at the time of placing your order and full payment within 30 days of the performance date. Payments must be made with a single check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).

Full payment is required for orders placed less than a month before the desired performance date. Checks must be received within seven business days of placing order. Tickets will be released if deposits or final payments are not paid by the due date noted on your Group Sales Contract.

Are groups charged any fees?

Classic Groups save by only paying a one-time small handling fee on their entire order, and are not subject to individual ticket fees.

Express Group members book individually and pay the standard ticket fee. Express Group leaders muct leave a $100 deposit. When the group minimum of 10 or more persons is reached the $100 deposit will be immediately refunded.

Will my group be seated in the same section of the theater?

We make every effort to seat your Classic Group together. Booking early gives you the best selection of seats for your group and allows us to seat you as closely together as possible.

Since Express Group members book their seats individually, group seating is not available for this option.

How do I increase or decrease my order?

Groups can increase their order at any time, depending on availability. Prior to final payment, groups can reduce the number of reserved tickets. Groups cannot decrease an order below the minimum of 10 tickets.

When do groups receive their tickets?

After a final payment is received and processed, group sales tickets are mailed.

How do I cancel or refund my order?

If your group must cancel its order, please notify our Box Office immediately. Both deposits and final payments are non-refundable.

Where can our group go to eat before or after the ballet?

There are many restaurants located near the Boston Opera House. Find restaurant options here or call the Box Office at 617.695.6955 for more information, Mon–Fri, 9:30 am–5 pm.
