Arrive early or stay late to get a behind-the-scenes look and take advantage of everything that the ballet has to offer.

The Warm-up: A Pre-Show Experience

Arrive a little early to warm up for your Obsidian Tear experience. Join us in the lower lobby to find three interactive stations where you can discover more about the art and artists of Boston Ballet. You'll have the chance to:

  • find out if you share a hometown or guilty pleasure with one of Boston Ballet's dancers
  • try your hand (and feet) at some of the moves you'll see on stage—and snap a picture

Prior to every performance of  Parts In Suite and Romeo & Juliet

Post-Show Talk

Join Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen and his special guests for a deeper look at the performance you just saw. Gain insights into how the dancers prepare, learn what the choreographers consider, and even take the opportunity to ask a question of your own.
