Push the limits of your imagination

Discover the transformative power of dance with two world premieres by living artists William Forsythe and Jorma Elo. Explore the ultimate sensory experience of this physically demanding and mentally stimulating program. Forsythe once again will push the limits of what is possible in dance today, while Elo will transport our audiences to a new unexpected experience.

William Forsythe’s Blake Works I returns to the stage to push the boundaries of classical ballet with his honest and exhilarating choreography.

In his world premiere, Blake Works III, Forsythe will thrill us with his never-ending inventiveness, and push Boston Ballet dancers to the edge and beyond in an artful play on sculpture, speed, and sheer nerve.

Continue to stretch your heart and mind with Ruth’s Dance, a new work by Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo, which juxtaposes classical ballet and contemporary dance in his own unique and honest style. A fresh, fluid, and beautiful display of ballet today.
