Best Dance Party Ever
Creative powerhouse William “Bill” Forsythe is back with a bold triple bill. Don’t miss the new work by internationally-acclaimed choreographer William Forsythe. Blake Works I returns by popular demand, transforming James Blake’s emotionally-raw 2016 album, “The Color in Anything,” into “sheer joy” (The New York Times).
Forsythe’s international sensation Playlist (EP) pulls pop and R&B music from the choreographer’s personal playlist to fuel the piece’s “high-kicking exuberance” (The Boston Globe). With a soundtrack that includes music from Khalid, Barry White, and Natalie Cole, this high-octane and playful program will have you dancing in your seat. Playlist (EP) made its world premiere in 2019 in Boston followed by the Company’s Paris debut with The New York Times declaring that “[Forsythe] is making Boston Ballet look terrific.”
With Appreciation
The Company expresses its deepest gratitude to Lisa and Tom Blumenthal for their extraordinary support of William Forsythe and his partnership with Boston Ballet.
