What is the BB@yourhome virtual subscription?
This brand-new subscription grants you access to Boston Ballet's first-ever virtual season, featuring six programs from November 2020–April 2021. These virtual programs will feature intimate new performances by Boston Ballet dancers captured live in-studio, bringing inspiring dance safely to our audiences. From new choreographic voices to narratives you know by heart, we invite you to subscribe and enjoy world-class ballet from the comfort of your home.

How do I watch the virtual programs?
Before each virtual program premieres, we will email subscribers a viewing link and password to watch at home. You can find the run dates for all BB@yourhome programs on our website.

Is there a time limit for viewing the virtual performances?
Each BB@yourhome program will be available to watch at your leisure for 10 days from the premiere date. We will send all subscribers more information about the run dates for these programs so that you can mark your calendar accordingly.

Will I be able to watch BB@yourhome performances on my TV?
Watching on your television depends on what types of devices and technology you have available to you. Many smart devices can play content from a phone or computer to a television. We recommend THIS RESOURCE from CNET for more information and encourage you to test any technology prior to watching a BB@yourhome program.

I co-subscribe with someone who doesn’t live with me. How can they access the virtual programs?
Please make sure that you have purchased the applicable number of BB@yourhome virtual subscriptions for you and any co-subscribers who don't live with you. In order for your co-subscribers to access the programs, please provide their contact details to the Box Office so that we can forward the viewing links to them directly. You can reach the Box Office via email at tickets@bostonballet.org or phone at 617.695.6955.

Can I share BB@yourhome viewing links and passwords with people who do not subscribe?
While we wish we could share these exciting programs with everyone, artistic permission is granted exclusively for subscribers. Our BB@yourhome performances involve multiple artist rights holders and unions who generously have made this virtual season possible. A key part of our agreements is the commitment to make these videos available only to you, our subscribers, and not the general public. Please help us keep our promises to our artists and musicians so we may share other work digitally in the future.

How can I buy tickets for the live, in-person performances in May?
Tickets for off the chART (May 6-16) and ChoreograpHER (May 20–30) will go on sale in the spring. They are not available as part of a the BB@yourhome subscription package.

Can I still see The Nutcracker this year?
We are pleased to announce that Boston Ballet will partner with NBC Boston to broadcast Mikko Nissinen’s  The Nutcracker to homes across New England. This brand-new, one-hour television event brings the magic of the holidays straight to your living room and ensures the health and safety of our audiences. The Nutcracker will be available to watch on NBC Boston with encore airings and on-demand viewing opportunities on NBC Boston, NECN, and Spanish-language Telemundo. It will also be available for free for a limited time on Boston Ballet’s website.

I'm a student. Is there a discount on the season this year?
Unfortunately we’re not able to offer student discounts this season. We invite you to subscribe to our virtual season, BB@yourhome, for just $180.

How do I contact the box office?
You can reach the Box Office via email at tickets@bostonballet.org or phone at 617.695.6955. We appreciate your patience as the team is working remotely for now.
