Joined Boston Ballet in 2021

Biography

Brooke Wilson began her ballet training at age 5 in Dover, New Hampshire under the direction of former Boston Ballet dancer Edra Toth. From 2016 to 2020, she studied at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on full scholarship.  

Wilson trained at the School of American Ballet for four summers. She attended Miami City Ballet School’s Choreographic Intensive in 2020 before joining their pre-professional division as a year-round student. There she performed excerpts from George Balanchine’s Who Cares?.  

Her Boston Ballet repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Chaconne, William Forsythe’s Artifact 2017, Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, Rudolf Nureyev’s Don Quixote, Justin Peck’s Everywhere We Go, and Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty. 

With Boston Ballet II, Wilson performed George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Paul Craig’s Gestalt, Jean Coralli/Jules Perrot’s Giselle (Peasant Pas de Six), Leonid Lavrosky/Sofia Golovkina’s Classical Pas de Deux, and Marius Petipa’s Don Quixote Pas (Kitri). 

Wilson was awarded second place at the 2016 Youth America Grand Prix semifinals and third place in 2017.   

She joined Boston Ballet II in 2021 and was promoted to artist of the Company in 2023.
