Biography
Demi Trezona began her training at the Eugene Ballet Academy under the direction of Sara Lombardi. She performed and toured extensively with the Eugene Ballet Company, directed by Toni Pimble. Trezona attended summer programs on scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet School, International Dance School, San Francisco Ballet School, and was a part of Boston Ballet School’s inaugural Choreographic Intensive. Trezona attended Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s Professional Division program under the direction of Peter Boal, training and performing with the Company in numerous ballets. She joined Grand Rapids Ballet under the direction of Patricia Barker in 2013, where she danced for four seasons. Demi danced with Czech National Ballet in Brno, Czech Republic during the 2017–2018 season and has worked with Eugene Ballet, Quixotic Fusion, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, and South Dakota Ballet before joining Boston Ballet.
Trezona’s repertoire includes Gerald Arpino’s Light Rain, George Balanchine’s Coppélia, Cinderella, Rubies, Serenade, and The Four Temperaments, Val Caniparoli’s The Nutcracker, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Memorias del Dorado and Dangerous Liaisons, Kirk Peterson’s Amazed in Burning Dreams, Mario Radacovsky’s Bolero, Romeo and Juliet, Black and White, Beethoven, and West Side Story, Alexei Ratmansky’s Don Quixote, Kent Stowell’s The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Swan Lake, Bruce Wells’ Cinderella, and Olivier Wevers Midsummer.
Trezona joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2021.
