Biography
Ethan Clarisey trained with Canada’s National Ballet School before completing a two-year apprenticeship with The National Ballet of Canada (NBC).
His repertoire with NBC includes Carlos Acosta’s Don Quixote, John Cranko’s Onegin, Karen Kain’s Swan Lake, James Kudelka’s Cinderella and The Nutcracker, John Neumeier’s A Streetcar Named Desire, Rudolf Nureyev’s The Sleeping Beauty, Wayne McGregor’s MADDADDAM, Alexei Ratmansky’s Romeo and Juliet, and Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. He also performed in various festivals including Fall for Dance North, Sharing the Stage at Harbourfront Centre, and the Duende Flamenco Festival.
Clarisey won first place at the Boston Youth American Grand Prix semifinals in 2015, the Bernard Ostry Award, and the Peter Dwyer Scholarship.
Clarisey joined Boston Ballet II in 2024.
