Biography

Graham P. Johns began dancing at the age of 12 with Elaine Kudo, Diane Orio, and Buddy Balou.  He matriculated at Phillips Academy in 2010, where he continued his dance training in tandem with his academics.  Johns has participated in summer courses at Boston Ballet School, the School of American Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School.

In 2014, Johns was invited by Margaret Tracey to join the trainee program at Boston Ballet School, on full scholarship.  In his 2016 Next Generation performance, he performed the role of Désiré in Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty.

Johns was invited by Mikko Nissinen to join Boston Ballet II in 2016. He is a graduate of Phillips Academy, the recipient of the 2014 Phillips Academy Dance Prize, a National YoungArts Foundation Winner, and the recipient of the Timothy Taylor Trust Scholarship.
