Ways to Engage

We offer a variety of ways to get access to the arts.

We are Boston’s Ballet. We believe in the transformative power of dance to inspire positive change in our community and beyond. We step toward the future, where our art breaks down barriers, open minds, strengthens our connections to each other, and is shared more widely with all. Because the future of dance is the future of humanity.

Together, we move—forward and farther—as Boston’s Ballet.

Community Partnerships

At Boston Ballet, we aim to bring our art to people where they are and create inclusive customer experiences.

Our vision is to cultivate and educate a new generation of lifelong arts advocates and participants through our commitment to education, collaboration, inclusion and innovation.

We foster partnerships in three stages—creating accessibility to dance, amplifying voices in the community, and providing unique activations.

Dance Education

At Boston Ballet School, we believe that dance is for everyone! Through our Community Education Programs, such as CITYDANCE, students not only learn foundational ballet technique, but also develop a life-long love for movement, music, and the community.

ÜNI Public Art

We invite you to visit ÜNI, Boston Ballet’s multimedia pop-up experience designed to be a portal to dance for the community. ÜNI is both an intimate experience and a sculptural spectacle for the senses. Enjoy this unique experience as it travels across Boston.

Field Trips

Field trips to Boston Ballet open doors to allow students to see how a professional dance company operates and explore new career paths. Aimed at encouraging youth to see first hand what roles are involved in the performing arts, field trips range from opportunities to view company rehearsals, school dance classes, and costume creation. Attendees also get a chance to meet professional dancers, rehearsal directors, stage production, and administrative teams.
