Who Is Eligible for Boston Ballet Community Partnerships Cost-Free Ticket Program?
Organizations: An organization/school is eligible for the Community Partnerships Cost-Free Ticket Program if the organization has official 501(c)(3) status, distributes the tickets solely to beneficiaries of the organization and 25% or more of the population served is classified as economically disadvantaged (eligible for Earned Income Tax Credit- EITC)
Do you offer any special discounts?
Yes. Boston Ballet participates in the CARD TO CULTURE program, a collaboration between MASS CULTURAL COUNCIL and the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSITIONAL ASSISTANCE, MASSACHUSETTS HEALTH CONNECTOR, and WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) NUTRITION PROGRAM, by offering EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare Health Insurance card holders the following discount:
- Tickets are $10 each and are available for purchase in-person at the Citizens Opera House (the Box Office opens 3 hours prior to the first performance of the day) or by phone at 617.695.6955, Mon-Fri, 10 am–4 pm. Note: This discount is available for 2026–2027 season programs and Boston Ballet School’s Next Generation. This discount is not available for The Nutcracker. Tickets are available for sale beginning on the following dates:
- Fall Experience on September 7, 2026
- Winter Experience on February 15, 2027
- Coppélia on March 8, 2027
- Cinderella on April 26, 2027
- Spring Experience on May 10, 2027
- Boston Ballet School’s Next Generation on May 10, 2027
- For in-person sales, please show valid card. For phone sales, tickets will be held at Will Call at the Citizens Opera House and a valid card must be shown.
- Limit four tickets per card per household.
- Tickets aren’t available for every program or performance and are subject to availability. We recommend calling the Box Office to check availability at 617.695.6955, Mon–Fri 10 am–4 pm.

How Does Boston Ballet Support Community Partnerships Ticket Program Customers?
Boston Ballet CPTP supports recipients by:
- Empowering customers to choose the “Community Night and/or Community Matinee” performance that best meets their needs
- Ensuring CPTP customers have access to supported pre-show and post-show information;
- Reducing the potential for ticket shock or other financial harms; and
- Providing a dedicated process for ticket requests, comments, feedback and continued engagement
