Summer Dance Program Audition Tour
In January and February, Boston Ballet School faculty will be in the following cities to hold auditions for our 2026 Summer Dance Program. In addition to our in-person auditions, pre-recorded videos will be accepted through February 28.

POINTE MAGAZINE INFO SESSION
On Tuesday, December 2 at 8 pm ET, Pointe Magazine will be hosing a live info session for students and families to hear directly from Boston Ballet School leaders. TAMARA KING, Associate Director of BBS, and JOAN BOADA, Associate Director of BBII, will discuss the program structure, curriculum, residential experience, and even more about what makes SDP an unparalleled summer training opportunity.
IN-PERSON AUDITIONS
When possible, Boston Ballet School prefers that students audition at one of our live, in-person audition classes. See below for the different registration options. While audition fees may be transferrable between auditions, all fees are non-refundable.
PRE-REGISTRATION
Students are encouraged to pre-register for their audition and pay a discounted fee of $40.
Online pre-registrations must be submitted by 11:59 pm ET on the Wednesday prior to an audition.
PRE-REGISTER

DAY-OF-REGISTRATION
Students who are unable to pre-register for their desired audition will have the opportunity to register on-site at the audition. The fee for day-of registration is $50, which can be paid via cash or check.
VIDEO AUDITIONS
Pre-recorded videos will be accepted through Saturday, February 28. The registration fee for a pre-recorded video submission is $60.
