Lasha Khozashvili trained at the Vakhtang Chabukiani Tbilisi Ballet Art State School from 1994 to 2002. He joined the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Opera and Ballet State Theatre, where he was a leading soloist, also appearing with the State Ballet of Georgia, and as a principal dancer with Samsun Opera and Ballet Theater in Turkey.
He was awarded the Gilbert Albert and Nina Ananiashvili International Prize “Star” in 2008. Khozashvili toured with State Ballet of Georgia to America and Japan and performed at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival dancing roles in Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and George Balanchine’s Mozartiana and Duo Concertant.
A principal dancer with Boston Ballet for 16 years, Khozashvili performed leading roles across a wide range of classical, contemporary, and neoclassical works, including ballets by Ashton, Balanchine, Cranko, Elo, Forsythe, Kylián, Maillot, Neumeier, Nissinen, Nureyev, Pite, and Wheeldon, among many.
Khozashvili joined Boston Ballet as a rehearsal director in 2026, focusing on several full-length ballets including The Nutcracker and Coppélia.
