Biography

Lonnie Stanton began her training with Northern California Ballet and attended summer programs at Joffrey Ballet, Ballet San Antonio, and Boston Ballet. She later received her B.F.A. from the Boston Conservatory in Dance.

Stanton performs regularly with Jean Appolon Dance Expressions and Prometheus Dance company and has been contracted by Peter DiMuro, Ballet Rox, Bosoma, Zoe Dance, Angie Moon Dance Theatre, and Anna Reyes Dance while in Boston. In New York she has worked with Kinesis Project Dance Theatre during their 2015-16 season. Stanton has produced movement for Neoscape (advertisement), Moe Pope (hip hop artist), Linda Tegg (photography), Silvi Naci and Tamara Al-Mashouk (film artists).

She has previously taught at Ballet Academy East and Brookline Ballet as well as in public schools to bring dance education into the classroom through Notes in Motion and the New York City Ballet.
