Biography

Alexis Workowski began her dance training at Orlando Ballet School and continued at Florida’s Ballet Conservatory at Skyra. She began her professional career at United Ballet Theatre and BalletMet. In 2024, Workowski worked with English National Ballet as a guest dancer.

Her repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht, August Bournonville’s Napoli, Gerard Charles’ The Nutcracker, Derek Deane’s Swan Lake, Edwaard Liang’s Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Alice, Dorothy & the Prince of Oz, and Tributary, and Marius Petipa’s Le Corsaire.

In 2022, Workowski won 3rd Prize at the 9th Annual Helsinki International Ballet Competition. She is a two-time Gold medal winner at the Miami International Ballet Competition, was awarded the Grand Prix at the Youth America Grand Prix Boston Regional, the Silver Medal at World Ballet Competition, and the Robert Joffrey/Gerald Arpino Grand Prix Legacy Award at the Universal Ballet Competition.

Workowski joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2024.
