Biography
Dayeon Yeom began her dance training in 2018 at Ballet West Studio in Seoul, South Korea, where she was trained by her father and teacher, Mr. Jihoon Yeom. Throughout her training, she performed with Korea Youth Ballet Stars, Wise Ballet Company, Seoul Ballet Theatre, M Ballet Company, and Jeong Hyeong-il Ballet Creative.
Yeom has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Second Scholarship Prize and Audience Favorite Award at the 2026 Prix de Lausanne, first prize at the UNESCO Almaty International Dance Competition, first prize at the Korea International Ballet Competition, second prize at the Seoul International Dance Competition, the Grand Prix at the Scholarship International Ballet Competition, and recognition as a Top 12 finalist at Youth America Grand Prix Tampa.
At age 16, Yeom became the youngest dancer in Korea to perform the title role in Giselle.
Yeom joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2026.
