Francisco Schilereff began his ballet training at the Instituto Coreográfico Pigüé. After attending a competition in Córdoba, he was offered a scholarship to North Carolina’s Cary Ballet Conservatory’s Pre-Professional Division under the direction of Mariaelena Ruiz. In 2019, Schilereff was offered an apprenticeship with Miami City Ballet. He was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2020 and to soloist in 2024.
His repertoire includes Ricardo Amarante’s Delight, George Balanchine’s Agon, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Divertimento No. 15, Firebird, The Nutcracker, Jewels, Prodigal Son, La Valse, Serenade, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, and Square Dance, John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet, Amy Hall Garner’s Resplendent Fantasy, Martha Graham’s Diversion of Angels, Alonzo King’s Following the Subtle Current Upstream, Anabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Carmen, Alexei Ratmansky’s Concerto DSCH, Pictures at an Exhibition, and Swan Lake, Jerome Robbins’ I’m Old Fashioned, West Side Story Suite, and Glass Pieces, Jamar Roberts’ Sea Change, Pam Tanowitz’s Coincident Dances, Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room, and Durante Verzola’s PAGANINI, In Play, and Sentimiento.
Schilereff joined Boston Ballet as a second soloist in 2025.
