Biography

Katie Cerny began her dance training at Campanaria Ballet School under the guidance of Miguel Campaneria. She studied with Hamburg Ballet’s John Cranko School, Royal Ballet School and Ellison Ballet summer programs. Cerny joined Philadelphia Ballet’s second company in 2023 and became an apprentice in 2024.

Her repertoire includes George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Ballet Imperial, Serenade, August Bournonville’s La Sylphide, Angel Corella’s The Sleeping Beauty, Bolero, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, and Giselle, Harald Lander’s Études, and Mikko Nissinen’s Swan Lake.

Cerny joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2025.
