Joined Boston Ballet II in 2024

Biography

Layla Porter began her dance training at Ballet West Academy in Salt Lake City Utah. She joined Houston Ballet II in 2022.

Her repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, Divertimento No. 15, and Stars and Stripes, John Neumeier’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Marius Petipa’s Paquita, and Stanton Welch’s The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.

Porter received the Lauren Anderson Young Dancers Scholarship and the Bruce Marks Scholarship.

Porter joined Boston Ballet II in 2024. She joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2025.
