Biography
Reegan Behles is a dance educator and fitness instructor. She received her formative dance training at Lee Anne Stewart Dance School, studying various styles of dance such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and musical theater. She continued her work at Indiana University, where she had the great honor of studying under the dance master Twyla Tharp, focusing on fundamentals of movement and creativity. She performed in both Torelli and The One Hundreds and was a part of the local collective Windfall Dance Company.
Behles graduated and moved to Boston in 2021 where she began her work with Boston Ballet School at Citydance, in the Community Education Department. Behles received her American Preparatory Ballet Training certification under the direction of Lucaino Aimar in 2024 and is thrilled to be able to continue her work as Community Education and Children’s Program faculty.
In addition to teaching dance, Behles is a certified barre instructor. She enjoys implementing her knowledge of fitness and strength training into the development of challenging, technique based classes that maintain a strong element of creative exploration. A lifelong student herself, Behles is always looking for ways to grow and bring evidence-based education to her students.
