Biography

Tara Gragg is from Flint, MI and received her training at the Flint School of Performing Arts and the University of Oklahoma, where she received her BFA in Ballet Performance. She has danced professionally with Tulsa Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet, and as a featured dancer with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, performing works by choreographers including George Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, and Paul Taylor. Since 2014, Gragg has been a company dancer with Island Moving Company in Rhode Island, as well as a core faculty member at IMC’s affiliated academy. In 2019, she received a grant from The Actors’ Fund to further develop her pedagogy at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Teachers’ Workshop.
