The next generation of stars.

ONE NIGHT ONLY | MAY 13, 2026 | 7:00PM

Next Generation is the annual, exciting one-night-only performance that empowers talented young dancers to reach for the stars. Featuring Boston Ballet II and Boston Ballet’s Donna Egan Graduate Program artists, and students of Boston Ballet School’s Professional Division at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, this is a performance of exceptional dance, showcasing rising talent in the dance world. These young dancers represent the next generation of talent, as they aspire to careers in professional dance companies.

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF NEXT GENERATION

With 15 years of artistry, and emerging talent, past performances have included classics and contemporary pieces brought to life by our students and artists.

George Balanchine’s Serenade, Scotch Symphony, and Walpurgisnacht Ballet
Excerpts from Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Paquita, Le Talisman, and Satanella
Excerpts from Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot’s Giselle
Christopher Wheeldon’s The American and This Bitter Earth
Original choreography by Boston Ballet Principal Dancers Lia Cirio, Paul Craig, and Chyrstyn Fentroy
