Daniela Fabelo

Joined Boston Ballet in 2022

Daniela Fabelo started dancing at age 10 at the Cuban National Ballet School. In 2015, she joined Cuban National Ballet and was promoted to first soloist in 2018. In 2019, she joined Ballet de Monterrey in Mexico and later that year was promoted to principal dancer. She has performed at the Ravello Festival in Italy, the International Festival in Havana, and in Cuban National Ballet’s international tours to Europe.

Fabelo’s repertoire includes Alicia Alonso’s Carmen (Destiny), Giselle, and La Fille mal gardée (Lise), George Balanchine’s Theme and Variations and Sylvia, and Thiago Soares’ Swan Lake (Odette, Odile), Don Quixote (Kitri), and The Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy).

Fabelo was the recipient of the Premium for the Best Pas de Deux and Silver Medal at the International Meeting of Ballet Academies in Havana in 2014 and the Master Premium for Technical Ballet and Gold Medal at the International Meeting of Ballet Academies in Havana in 2015.

Daniela Fabelo joined Boston Ballet as an artist of the Company in 2022.
