Boston Ballet's Adaptive Dance Program

CLASSES

Adaptive Dance offers three types of classes:
● Specialized classes for individuals with Down syndrome ages 2–adult in Boston and Newton (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
● Specialized classes for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders ages 5–adult in Boston and Newton (Sunday)
● Inclusive classes for individuals of all abilities and needs ages 5–adult in the North Shore (Tuesday) and Newton (Saturday and Sunday)

Registration

New Students

An intake interview is required for all new students and is held prior to the start of the school year.  We use information from the registration materials and intake interview to make a placement recommendation and do our best to find a class for all interested students. If the recommended class is full, individuals may be placed on a waitlist.  Please note, the $25 intake interview registration fee is non-refundable and will be applied towards Adaptive Dance tuition if you decide to register for the program. Registration for Intake Interviews for the 2020-2021 Program is now available.

Returning Students
Registration for 2020-2021 is now open. Due to feedback from our Adaptive Dance families, we will be offering virtual classes in the fall (Oct-Dec). The option for hybrid or in-studio classes will be explored for the spring (Mar-May). All classes will be held at the same time of day in the fall and the spring. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot for the year, as space is limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
